Description
How can school canteens effectively measure, prevent and reduce food waste?
This European webinar, organised by the GUSTOS project funded by the European Union, will bring together projects and organisations working on practical solutions to reduce and prevent food waste in school canteens.
Speakers will share methodologies, tested interventions, results and lessons learned across four areas: food waste measurement, educational interventions, gastronomic interventions, knowledge transfer and behavioural change.
Participants
The session is designed for catering companies, schools, researcher and education communities, food professionals, public authorities, civil society, and any other organisation and stakeholder aiming to prevent and reduce food waste prevention in school canteens.
Expected outcomes
- Enhance cooperation and collaboration among European projects.
- Mutual learning among key stakeholders interested in food waste prevention.
- Share best practices and lessons to be learned to reduce food waste in school canteens.
- Promote solutions that can be replicated and implemented in other school canteens
